A Vaccine may be your ticket to Europe this summer

The country has just reopened to travelers, including Americans, who can provide a recent negative COVID-19 test or proof of vaccination.

According to Ursula von der Leyen, the president of the European Commission, since the United States was exclusively using vaccines that the E.U.’s drug authority had also approved, this “will enable free movement and travel to the European Union.

The E.U. is working on “Digital Green Certificates,” to prove vaccination status, recent negative tests, or recovery from the disease for easy travel amid the 27-country bloc.
