Ahmedabad: Woman thrashed, abandoned by husband for using mobile

In a bizarre incident from Ahmedabad, a 43-year-old woman was allegedly thrashed and abandoned by her husband for merely using her mobile phone. The victim alleged that her husband did not like her using the mobile phone in his absence.

The husband is booked for domestic violence. The victim claimed that her husband thrashed her with his belt at her parents’ house too and refused to take her back.
