Ahmedabad records highest daily Covid cases at 6,000, spike of 38% | Ahmedabad

It was the highest ever daily Covid tally for the city at 5,998 on Tuesday, surpassing 5,790 recorded on April 25 last year during the peak of the second wave.
In terms of daily rise, it was the spike of 38% compared to 4,340 on Monday. The city alone accounted for more than one-third of the state cases. With the update, the district added 3,170 active cases - taking the cases to 27,261.
