Former CM Ajit Jogi had been undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Raipur, Chhattisgarh after he suffered a cardiac arrest on May 9 of this year. Ajit Jogi had served as the first Chief Minister of the state of Chhattisgarh from November 2000 to November 2003. Ajit Jogi is survived by his wife Renuka and son Amit. His funeral will take place tomorrow in his native land Gorela.
