In a first significant bet on social commerce, Amazon has acquired women focused social commerce startup Glow Road reportedly in an all-cash deal whose details have not been disclosed.
The social commerce space has been one of the sought out sectors as Flipkart’s social commerce arm Shopsy and Meesho have been garnering market share.
