Ambulance driver caught 'smuggling' Palestinians into Israel

Bodycam footage released by the police showed 8 Palestinians lying flat on the back of the ambulance labelled ‘Private Ambulance Hadera’. The ambulance was stopped at a checkpoint north of Jerusalem. The driver and his assistant told Border Police officers manning the checkpoint that they were on their way to a life-saving incident. When the officers found no such event on checking their systems, they opened the back of the ambulance.
