Addressing the reporters, N Mathivanan, deputy police commissioner (traffic), said the school buses had to follow all the safety norms round-the-clock.
District collector Dr G S Sameeran inspected the school buses on the Police Recruit School grounds in the city on Friday to ensure their compliance with the safety and regulatory norms. Nearly 1,265 school buses were brought by 230 private schools for inspection drive.
