Another Earthquake hits Delhi; residents of high-rise packed NCR question their safety

The city was hit by a mild earthquake of 2.7 magnitudes on the Richter scale at 4.42 pm on Wednesday, a day after experiencing a powerful jolt. The less-felt tremor, which originated in west Delhi, occurred after the whole NCR and other areas of north India shook for over thirty seconds on Tuesday night owing to a larger earthquake in Afghanistan's Hindu Kush region. The National Center for Seismology determined that Wednesday's tremor lasted less than three seconds.
