Army averts major terror incident destroys IED in Kupwara

The Army claimed to have recovered and destroyed an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in the Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir. The IED was recovered near Chowkibal on Srinagar-Chowkibal highway in the north Kashmir district. As per standard operating protocol, the IED was destroyed on the spot in a controlled explosion. Further investigations have been started to arrest the people who planted the IED.
