Arunachal Pradesh: Parshuram Kund Festival begins

The annual Parshuram Kund Festival 2023 got underway at the Hindu pilgrimage site under Wakro circle in Lohit district of Arunachal Pradesh. The district administration has made elaborate arrangements to facilitate the pilgrims coming from various parts of the country and abroad to have a hassle-free holy dip at the Kund on the occasion of Makar Sankranti, which falls on January 15. More than 1.50 lakh pilgrims are expected to take part in the festival which commenced on Thursday.
