With five states reporting a spike in coronavirus cases again, the Union Health Ministry has issued a note of caution to the state governments and asked for increasing the number of tests and more RT-PCR tests so that no cases are missed out.
According to the health ministry, more than 74% of the total active caseload of the country are being reported from Kerala and Maharashtra. The Centre has asked state governments to work on improving overall testing.
