A group of astronomers have discovered the existence of a planetoid that has become the farthest away object to resides in our solar system. Named informally ‘Farfarout’, the planetoid is the most distant object ever observed.

It is to be mentioned here that Pluto is only 34 au away from the Sun, making Farfarout four times distant from the Sun. The object has a “very elongated orbit” thus taking it to 175 au when it is the farthest away.
