Audi-powered Electric rickshaws Made in India

German-Indian startup Nunam is introducing electric three-wheelers for the Indian roads. What makes these EVs particularly unique is the fact that they're powered by used batteries from electric cars.

The prototype vehicles make use of used batteries from the Audi e-tron test fleet. Audi states that the objective of this project is to explore the uses of these high-voltage electric car batteries after their car life cycle is complete. The project also aims to create job opportunities, especially for women, in India.
