BharatPe's Ashneer Grover takes leave of absence following abusive call controversy

BharatPe co-founder and managing director Ashneer Grover has taken a voluntary leave of absence till March-end. The development follows a purported audio clip going viral in which Grover was allegedly heard verbally abusing a Kotak Mahindra Bank employee.
In Grover’s absence, Suhail Sameer will lead the company, a company statement said.“Ashneer Grover, our Co-Founder and MD, has today informed the Board of his decision to take a voluntary leave of absence from BharatPe till March-end.
