BharatPe appoints former SBI chairman Rajnish Kumar as its chairman

BharatPe has appointed former SBI Chairman Rajnish Kumar as chairman of the board, the fintech startup said on Tuesday.
In his role as BharatPe chairman , Kumar will be involved in formulating the firm’s short-term and long-term strategy, as well as work closely with the board and executives on regulatory matters. He will also advise and counsel the management on corporate governance.
