A recent study found that people who had biked at any point in their lives were 17% less likely to develop knee pain and 21% less likely to develop arthritis with pain in the knee joint. The study was done after analysing data from more than 2,600 people who were in their 60s. The study published in Medicine & Science in Sports & Exercise found that bicycling, whether outdoors or in a spinning class can help prevent knee pain and arthritis.
