Bill Gates visits Bhubaneswar slum, interacts with residents

Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates went to Biju Adarsh Colony in Maa Mangla Basti along with government officials. Gates spoke to women's self-help groups working there. State Urban Development Secretary G Mathi Vathanan said that Gates talked to beneficiaries of government welfare schemes. Gates is scheduled to meet Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik later. The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation collaborates with various state government departments.
