A British man who recently installed a new gate for his house in the countryside was told to remove it because it was “too smart for the rural area.” The house owner David Holman, 53, spent thousands of pounds installing the aluminium gates to replace the normal five-bar gate in his home called Little Cider Mill Barn. The gate he installed to his property in Croesyceiliog, Monmouthshire, to feel more secure after he was verbally abused by a stranger.
