CCI may penalise Amazon for anti-competitive practices: Report

According to a report, the Competition Commission of India’s investigation arm confirmed the charges against Amazon Seller Services Pvt Ltd. CCI, which recently received the report against Amazon, would soon send the findings to Amazon after which a hearing would be held before issuing a final order. Amazon may have to pay a fine under new rules, which allow CCI to levy penalties up to 10% of the firm's global turnover, the report said.
