Centre fast-tracks bypass projects to decongest Indore, Guwahati

The Network Planning Group (NPG) has fast-tracked three highway projects including a 141 km new bypass for Indore and a 64 km bypass to decongest Guwahati. The greenfield corridor, starting near Khandwa village and terminating at NH-52 near Bhardala, offers an alternative route and ensures seamless transportation of goods and people. The ring road around Guwahati city includes an elevated structure at Jorabat and a new bridge across Brahmaputra.
