Chandrayaan-3 possibly landed in 3.85 billion years old crater on Moon: Scientists

Scientists believe the crater was formed during the Nectarian period, one of the oldest periods in the Moon’s history. The team included researchers from the Physical Research Laboratory (PRL) and the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). S Vijayan, an associate professor in the PRL's Planetary Sciences Division, noted that the landing site of Chandrayaan-3 is a "unique geological setting where no other missions have gone."
