Chilly days ahead as IMD warns of cold wave

There is no respite from the chilly cold weather for the people in northwest and central India as India Meteorological Department (IMD) has warned of cold wave conditions in these regions during the next three to four days.

Cold wave conditions over northwest India and Madhya Pradesh will persist during the next two days and abate thereafter, while regions like Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal and Odisha are likely to experience isolated rainfall in the next 24 hours.
