China Changes Fight Club Ending, Triggers Firestorm Of Reactions

The ending of David Fincher's 1999 cult film Fight Club has been rewritten in China. The original ending saw Edward Norton's character killing his imaginary alter-ego Tyler Durden and then bombs destroying buildings as part of a plan to destroy consumerism by erasing debt records.
However, a version of the film released in China shows a terse message that says all criminals were apprehended and the authorities won.
