Coal Scam: Soumya Chaurasia in jail, 5 days in judicial custody in money laundering case

The ED has said in the complaint that an organized group of senior officials, businessmen, politicians and middlemen are illegally extorting Rs 25 per tonne for transporting coal in the state. A special court in Chhattisgarh has arrested the deputy secretary in Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel’s office in a money laundering case related to the coal scam.
