Congress plays down Mamata Banerjee's 'will go solo' remark

In a major jolt to the spirited INDIA Bloc, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee announced that her party, Trinamool Congress, will contest the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in 2024 alone in West Bengal. Reacting to the announcement, Congress leader Jairam Ramesh said, "You have not listened to the whole statement of Mamata Banerjee. Her whole statement is that we want to defeat BJP and we will not take even a single step back from defeating BJP."
