Consumer Court orders Zomato to compensate Law Student for Ffailing to deliver order

The District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Kollam has ordered the food delivery platform Zomato to pay Rs 8,362 compensation to a law student after the student’s food delivery worth Rs 362 was not delivered nor was he refunded. He further stated that Zomato gave two reasons for the order delivery failing.The Commission passed an ex-parte order and ruled that complainant has proved his case and is entitled to compensation.
