Court directs Theni district crime branch police to register cases against OPS, son

The Theni special court for trial of criminal cases against MPs and MLAs on Friday directed the district crime branch (DCB) police to register cases and inquire into complaints against former deputy chief minister and Bodinayakkanur MLA O Panneerselvam and his son.
Theni MP O P Ravindranath Kumar that they had furnished false information in the affidavits filed along with their nomination papers while contesting in elections.
