Covaxin Found Safe For 2-18 Ages In Phase 2/3 Study: Bharat Biotech

Bharat Biotech on Thursday said its vaccine — Covaxin — has proven to be safe, well-tolerated, and immunogenic in 2-18 years old volunteers in phase II/III study.
Covaxin has already received approval from DCGI for emergency use for those between 12-18 years. On December 25, PM Modi had announced that COVID-19 vaccination for children aged 15-18 years will start from January 3.
