Covid-19 fatalities in India crossed the 10,000-mark on Wednesday, making it the 8th country to reach a five-digit death toll. Apart from India, the other countries with a death toll above 10,000 are United States, Brazil, United Kingdom, Italy, France, Spain and Mexico. So far, India has recorded 3,54,065 cases, with a fatality rate of 3.1 per cent. This is the second lowest among countries at 10,000 deaths.
In the last one week, Spain hasn’t recorded a single Covid-19 death, but that’s primarily because it has put death numbers on hold.
