Covid case in Pune: IMA suggests Remdesivir for home isolated patients amid Covid surge

Indian Medical Association’s (IMA) members have suggested at a meeting with the Pune Covid task force and Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) Health Officers that the anti-viral Remdesivir, given to corona patients in Hospitals in case of breathing problem, can be used for home-isolated Covid patients.

Currently, the drug is given only to hospitalized patients.
