Cricket World Cup viewership skyrockets, sees 43% growth

The craze for the ICC Cricket World Cup has been unreal. And with India being the host, the TV viewership has been exceptionally huge. BCCI Secretary Jay Shah took to social media to claim that there has been a 43% growth in minutes compared to the previous edition, i.e. the 2019 World Cup. The World Cup has also witnessed an incredible 364.2 million viewers tuning in to the live broadcast of the first 18 matches of the tournament.
