CM Eknath Shinde and Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis decided to curtail their overseas tour to the WEF in Davos, Switzerland, in order to be available for PM Narendra Modi’s visit to Mumbai on January 19, where he will be inaugurating some big-ticket developmental projects, ahead of the BMC elections later this year. Both Shinde and Fadnavis were scheduled to travel on January 15 to Davos to participate in the WEF and invite investment to the state.
