Delhi acid attack: DCW summons Amazon, Flipkart for “easy availability of acid”

The three guys who are suspected of hurling acid on a 17-year-old schoolgirl in Delhi, critically injuring her, purchased the poison through the online retailer Flipkart. Flipkart and Amazon have received a warning from the Delhi Commission for Women on the “easy availability of acid.” Swati Maliwal, the head of the Delhi women’s group, claimed purchasing acid is “as simple as purchasing vegetables.”
