Delhi HC raises concerns over country's lack of 'quality, affordable' medical colleges

The Delhi High Court remarked on Wednesday that a lack of medical institutions that provide high-quality, low-cost education forces many aspiring students to study abroad. 

"The ratio of the medical profession as vis-a-vis the population of the country is abysmally low, an increase in the number of PG and UG seats would contribute to the bigger goal of strengthening the medical infrastructure of the country", the court said.
