Decades before the word collaboration became mandatory for fashion press releases, Ravi Bajaj and Suneet Varma were beating down the doors of corporate sponsors to fund a fashion show, together. “I walked into the classroom to find him sitting primly in the front desks,” remembers Bajaj. They launched their respective fashion labels in the late ’80s, and opened their flagship stores at Delhi’s DLF Emporio in 2013 (Suneet Varma) and 2014 (Ravi Bajaj).
