Data reveals that arrivals of fuel from India into Europe averaged a mere 18,000 barrels a day in February. The flow of diesel to both the European Union and the UK has taken a hit. This decline can be attributed to higher freight costs, driven by the ongoing turmoil in the Red Sea. Additionally, unplanned refinery maintenance in Asia has further skewed trade economics, making it more lucrative to send cargoes eastward rather than westward.
