Most experts point to the benefits of a varied diet, exercise, and not smoking or consuming alcohol as the main arguments for losing weight. Despite this, new trends often emerge, such as intermittent fasting or Time-Restricted Eating (TRE). A team of scientists has published a study based on time-restricted feeding without calorie counting as effective for losing weight and reducing haemoglobin levels compared to daily calorie restriction in adults with type 2 diabetes.
