Gold prices plummeted on Tuesday following a relaxation of tensions in West Asia over the weekend, as both Iran and Israel abstained from additional drone attacks. The fall in gold prices comes after an increase of ₹4,882 per 10 gram on the back of geo-political developments, according to the Indian Bullion and Jewellers Association of India. The fall ahead of Akshaya Tritiya bodes well for boosting demand which was hit badly by the recent spike in gold prices.
