Defence Research and Development Organisation’s (DRDO) counter-drone technology can give the armed forces an edge over detecting, intercepting and destroying enemy drones.
This anti-drone system can detect and destroy drones in the air using a laser-based kill system. The system was deployed for VVIP protection duties in 2020 and 2021. The radar system can offer 360-degree coverage.
