An earthquake of magnitude 4.6 struck in the Andaman Sea today, the National Center for Seismology (NCS) informed on Sunday.
The earthquake occurred at 2:21 pm. An earthquake of similar magnitude had hit Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan on Saturday. Earlier today, quake of magnitude 5.9 and 6.2 hit Tonga Islands and Rat Islands respectively.
