Earthquake of magnitude 3.6 jolts Madhya Pradesh

An earthquake of magnitude 3.6 on the Richter scale hit Madhya Pradesh's Jabalpur around 11 am. The National Center for Seismology (NCS) stated the tremors were felt 218 km from Pachmarhi. No damage was reported. This comes after an earthquake measuring 4.0 hit Portblair in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands on April 1, as per the NCS. On March 31, another earthquake measuring 4.3 hit Kargil in Ladakh, the NCS stated.
