Ec Withdraws Sonu Sood’s Appointment As Punjab Icon

The ECI has withdrawn the appointment of Sonu Sood as the state icon for Punjab.
It is learnt that the appointment has been withdrawn due to the actor’s own vested interests in political activities in Punjab as he has been supporting his younger sister Malvika Sood Sachar, who has announced to contest the upcoming Punjab assembly elections.
