Elephants struggle to cross tracks in viral video

The incident happened in Tamil Nadu’s Nilgiris. In the now-viral video, a herd of elephants can be seen struggling to cross the walls lining the railway tracks. They wanted to enter the forest that was on the other side but, due to the fencing, were unable to do so.
However, the Railway Ministry took swift action to provide a safer route for the animals to cross.
