It is no secret that Elon Musk wants humanity to reach Mars. When podcaster Lex Fridman asked him the question during the interview, Musk contemplated it for a good ten seconds.

Musk says that humans will land on Mars within the next five years in a best-case scenario. In the worst-case, this may take up to ten years.
