FIH Hockey Olympic Qualifiers moved from China to India

Women’s FIH Hockey Olympic Qualifiers, which were supposed to take place in Changzhou, China initially, have been moved to India. As per various media reports, the move has come after China attained direct qualification to Paris 2024, post their gold-winning effort at the Asian Games. Moreover, India has a bigger fan base for hockey than China. Jharkhand will host the Qualifiers from January 13-19, 2024.
