Fire damages property worth Rs 6 lakh in a flat

A major tragedy was averted, thanks to the presence of mind of locals, who took out six LPG cylinders from their neighbour’s house when a fire broke out at an apartment in a commercial complex at Lad Bazar, Charminar. The fire started on the balcony of Flat No. 303 in Mubarak Complex and spread to the other rooms, where property worth 6 lakh, mostly laptops and gadgets, was gutted late on Wednesday night. On noticing the fire, the locals rushed to the scene.
