Leader of Opposition in West Bengal Assembly Suvendu Adhikari, and four other BJP MLAs were suspended from the House until further notice after they allegedly engaged in a violent clash with TMC members on the floor of the House over the recent Birbhum violence.
Adhikari alleged that they had demanded a discussion over law and order in the state but the Mamata Banerjee-led government declined.
