Former PAK player backs BCCI for dropping Kishan, Iyer from contract list

The BCCI did not consider Ishan Kishan and Shreyas Iyer for a place in the BCCI central contract list as both decided against playing in the Ranji Trophy despite the BCCI's order. Backing the board, former Pakistan wicketkeeper-batsman, Kamran Akmal said, "Shreyas Iyer played the first two Tests of the series. If you don't value the cricket because of which you made it to the national team, what message is it going to give to all the youngsters?"
