Going green: Hyderabad airport commissions its second phase 5MW solar power plant

Inching closer towards clean energy, the Hyderabad International Airport has crossed another green milestone with the commissioning of its second phase 5MW solar power plant. With this, Hyderabad airport's total solar power capacity has now increased to 10MW.

Spread over an area of 45 acres, more than 30,000 solar panels have been installed. With the commissioning of this additional capacity, Hyderabad airport will be able to reduce its dependency on the Telangana State Electricity Board.
