Google’s Gemini AI model, intended to compete with OpenAI’s ChatGPT, faces delays coinciding with a period of slowed cloud sales growth for Google, while its competitor Microsoft has seen positive numbers, having invested significantly in OpenAI and integrated its technology into its offerings. Gemini, a Large Language Model (LLM), is designed to generate content based on text inputs, summarise articles, and facilitate tasks such as crafting email drafts and music lyrics.
